This issue has to have been my favorite of the first six issues, but I say this with fully acknowledging certain problems that many people had with the issue. But firstly lets just take a minute and realize how badass all the members of the League were in this issue. With Aquaman and Wonder Woman taking out Darkseid’s eyes, can you have them do anything more badass than that? No, I don’t think so. I know most people have a problem with Cyborg being the one to defeat Darkseid in the long run of the issue, but honestly I’m pretty fine with it. It makes sense to me why they would do that, here you have the new character to the team (someone we’ve really never had a part of the League as a founding member) that in his new origin has connections to Apokolips and its technology, so why not have him access that to save the day. I also see were people are coming from that Darkseid is to powerful of a bad guy to be faced off against first, but lets face it if it wasn’t for the luck of the League having Cyborg there they wouldn’t have stood a chance. As powerful and awesome the other members of League are there would be no way that they could have even had a chance against Darkseid, and we can see that when he flings them off him when he has a trident and sword in his eyes. It all comes down to luck, and now that Darkseid knows about what Cyborg can do there is no reason we can’t see him come back as an even bigger threat. Overall I liked this issue, I can’t say much else than that. I enjoy The Flash trying to name the League and completely failing in doing so. My biggest problem with the issue is in the Pandora back-up, if she is in some way a universe changing god like power than why the heck does she need guns? I don’t see any reason for her to have guns other than to make her seem more edgy. Anyways that’s might thoughts on issue 6 of Justice League, hope you enjoy them, & remember to pick up issue of Justice League tomorrow.
